No. 25 UMW versus No. 16 RMC NAIA game of week

DILLON, Mont. – When the Bulldogs and Battlin’ Bears take to the court on Friday night they will be the NAIA game of the week. The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 25 in NAIA division I while the visiting Bears are No. 16.

Bulldogs return home for four-game homestand

The University of Montana Western men’s basketball team has been on the road for five straight games and finally come back to Straugh Gymnasium to play four in a row. The opponents this weekend are No. 16 ranked Rocky Mountain College on Friday and Dickinson State on Saturday.

UMW women’s basketball returns home

The University of Montana Western women’s basketball team returns to Dillon and the comfort of home and Straugh Gymnasium for a four game home stand after playing five consecutive road games over a three week span. The women's basketball team last played a home game on Jan. 11 when they completed a big comeback with a win over Carroll College.

UMW men’s basketball split second straight weekend

The University of Montana Western Bulldogs were road warriors for the third straight weekend traveling to Billings, Mont., and Dickinson, N.D. The men dropped the first game of the road trip to Rocky Mountain by a score of 83-73. They were then able to pick up the big win over Dickinson State with a score of 86-75 on Saturday.

Women's basketball gets much needed weekend sweep

The University of Montana Western women’s basketball team hit the road for the third straight weekend to take on two Frontier Conference opponents needing a sweep. The ladies responded and gave head coach Lindsay Woolley exactly what his team needed with a 62-57 win over Rocky Mountain College and a 73-60 win over Dickinson State.

Montana Western women basketball on road again

The University of Montana Western women’s basketball team will hit the road to play two Frontier Conference games this week. Since the last game the Bulldogs played at their home gym, they have been on the road for 21 days.
