Mechiah Zilkoski of Wolf Point High School has signed a national letter of intent to join the Montana Western men's basketball team in fall 2013.

Mechiah, a 6'3” guard, led the Wolf Point Wolves to the 2012-13 state championship game before falling to Malta High School in triple overtime. He is a first-team all state selection and averaged 18 points and nine rebounds per game for the Wolves.

“We are very excited Mechiah decided to join our Bulldog family,” UMW Head Coach Steve Keller said. “He is a very strong, athletic guard who plays extremely hard and does all the little things it takes to make his team successful. We look for Mechiah to become a very good player in the Frontier Conference.”

Zilkoski will major in mathematics at Montana Western. He is the son of Mark and Myrle Zilkoski.
