Montana Western falls to Rocky Mountain College 47-10

Billings, Mont., Nov. 2, 2013 – The University of Montana Western football team traveled to Billings, Mont. on Saturday afternoon to play the 8th ranked Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College. It would turn into a day that saw dropped passes, missed open receivers and three Bulldog turnovers. Montana Western lost 47-10.

The game started with the UMW football team receiving the opening kickoff and having to punt the ball. Following a bad snap, Seth Mason tried to scramble for the first down but was stopped just shy of the needed yardage for a first down giving the Bears a short field for their first score. The Bulldogs next possession ended on an interception at the 6-yard line.  This was a preview of things to come for Montana Western. Throughout the game they could not overcome missed opportunities and mistakes that marred this day for the Bulldogs and led to the loss.
