DILLON, Mont. – When the Bulldogs and Battlin’ Bears take to the court on Friday night they will be the NAIA game of the week. The Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 25 in NAIA division I while the visiting Bears are No. 16.
The two teams matched up last weekend in Billings and Rocky Mountain got the better of UMW by a score of 83-73. RMC is tied with Montana State-Northern at the top of the Frontier Conference with 7-3 Frontier records. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are tied for third with a 6-4 conference record and return from the road to play four straight games at home.
In the last meeting between the two teams UMW’s Maazin Butler lit up the score board for a team leading 20 points. Jake Owsley, added 17 points and eight rebounds. The Bears were led by Tyree Anderson who had a game high 27 points, while Joel Barndt had 19 points and nine rebounds.
