The University of Montana Western women’s basketball coach, Lindsay Woolley, has announced the signing of Bigfork, Mont. senior Tessa Robertson. Robertson is another talented addition to Coach Woolley’s skilled 2014 recruiting class.

Robertson is a 6’ 2” post player who is slated to play the four or five for the UMW Bulldogs. She scored 234 points, grabbed 214 rebounds, 73 blocks, 16 assists and 17 steals as a senior. She was selected the top player in her district by the coaches, earned all-state, was a two time all-conference performer, and was selected as the athlete of the week during the 2013-14 season twice. Tessa earned numerous sportsmanship awards her junior year as well being named the best offensive player and defensive player of the year. As a freshman she broke the school record for blocks and earned honorable mention following her rookie varsity year and followed that with second team honors her sophomore year.

She was a three sport standout student-athlete who lettered each year of her high school career in basketball, volleyball, and track and field. Tessa earned first team all-conference and honorable mention during her volleyball career. Robertson earned a sixth-place finish in the shotput and a seventh place finish in the discus at state her senior year.

Tessa is the daughter of James and Diane Robertson.
