Bulldog golf signs three

University of Montana Western head golf coach Mike Crosser announced the signing of Mikael Noonkester of Huntley, Mont.; Drew Ramey of Livingston, Mont.; and Alex Sherry of Frenchtown, Mont. to Frontier Conference/NAIA letters of intent. By Wally Feldt University of Montana Western head golf coach Mike Crosser announced the signing of Mikael Noonkester of Huntley, Mont.; Drew Ramey of Livingston, Mont.; and Alex Sherry of Frenchtown, Mont. to Frontier Conference/NAIA letters of intent. Noonkester is a 2008 graduate of Huntley Project High School and a 2010 graduate of Miles Community College. She was a three-year letterman during her prep career and was a medalist in a duel meet with Dawson Community College. Noonkester, the daughter of Grant and Laurie Noonkester, plans to major in business management. Ramey is a 2010 graduate of Park County High School. A 6-handicapper, he was a three-year letterman. Ramey earned all-conference and all-state honors and finished eighth at the 2009 Montana state class A golf tournament. He plans to major in pre-law. Ramey is the son of Trish and Justin Fievet of Livingston, Mont. and Tom Ramey of Bozeman, Mont. Sherry is a 2010 graduate of Frenchtown High School. Sherry, a four-year letterman, has an 8-handicap. He earned all-conference honors this past season. Sherry is the son of Andrew and Jolene Sherry and will major in health and human performance. His father is a graduate of Montana Western. “This is a great group of talented golfers,” Crosser said. “I am looking to them to replace the golfers who graduated this year.”
