The Bulldog football squad earned their first win of the season in La Grande, Ore. against the Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers on Saturday, Nov. 6. The Bulldogs edged the Mountaineers 27-20. Montana Western will host rival Montana Tech on Saturday, Nov. 13. The Parent's Day game begins at noon, Vigilante Field. The Frontier Conference named Bulldog linebacker Coltin Weber a Player of the Week. The Kalispell senior had a banner game against the Mountaineers with 11 solo and two assisted tackles, a quarterback sack, an interception, and a fumble recovery. The Bulldog volleyball team lost 0-3 at home to Montana Tech of The University of Montana on Thursday, Nov. 4. The Bulldogs will head to Lewiston, Idaho on Nov. 12 and 13 for a Frontier Conference tournament. Montana Western will face Lewis-Clark State College at noon on Friday. On Saturday at 11 a.m. the winner of that match will play either Westminster College or Montana Tech. The championship match will be at 7 p.m. This weekend the Montana Western women's basketball team will head to Salt Lake City, Utah for the Westminster Fall Classic. The Bulldogs will face Pacific Union College at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 and California Baptist University at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12. On Saturday, Nov. 13 the Bulldogs will take on the College of Idaho Coyotes at 4 p.m. The Bulldogs are led in scoring by Roxanne Thurman and Nicole Tams who are averaging 17 and 15 points, respectively. Chloe Mosey leads the Bulldogs in rebounding, pulling down 9.5 caroms per contest.
