UMW NEWS BUREAU The University of Montana Western football team will be on display for the final time this spring on Saturday, April 30, 1 p.m. at Vigilante Field in Dillon, Mont. This will be the Bulldogs’ first Red/Black Game under new head coach Ryan Nourse. Saturday’s game will wrap up the team’s spring season. "This spring the staff and I had some specific goals we wanted to reach, the most important of which was to build the foundation of our team and how we want to play the game being smart, tough, enthusiastic and with relentless effort,” Nourse said of his team’s spring strategy. “I feel like the guys have worked hard to set this foundation and make it a part of who they are. We have developed a solid knowledge of our base offensive and defensive schemes and the fundamental skills to go along with them. The spring game will be a great opportunity to show the campus, community, and our alumni what they can expect from Bulldog football now and the unlimited potential of the program for the future."
The University of Montana Western has launched a national search for the provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs position.
