UMW drama to produce "The Good Doctor" by Neil Simon

From Feb. 26 to March 2 UMW drama will produce "The Good Doctor," a comedy set in 19th century Russia. php4Os7D7The University of Montana Western's drama department will produce Neil Simon's "The Good Doctor" Feb. 26 through March 2, 2009. All performances will be at 7:33 p.m. in the Beier Auditorium on the Montana Western campus in Dillon, Mont. "The Good Doctor" is a series of comedies set in 19th century Russia. The stories that make up the play are adapted from Anton Chekhov's comedic short stories. Chekhov (portrayed by UMW student James Durney) appears as the narrator of the stories. The light-hearted production is made up of a cast of UMW students and Dillon community members. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and children under six years of age will be admitted free. Larry Brazill, UMW drama professor, is the director of this production.
