After getting a weekend off, the University of Montana Western men's basketball team hits the road for two games against Dickinson State University in Dickinson, N.D. on Nov. 25 and 26. The game times will be at 6 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. By Lowell Peterson After getting a weekend off, the University of Montana Western men's basketball team hits the road for two games against Dickinson State University in Dickinson, N.D. on Nov. 25 and 26. The game times will be at 6 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Montana Western defeated Dickinson State 89-66 at home in the Craig Finberg Memorial Tournament on Oct. 29 in their first meeting. The Bulldogs raced out to an early lead and closed out the first half with a 19-point lead, 44-25. Tyler Hurley led the Bulldogs in scoring with 14 points, Brandon Brown had 13 and Tyler Miller added 11. Hurley and Miller each had seven rebounds and Brown dished out seven assists. Casper Hesseldal and John Hanstad scored 18 and 11, respectively, for the Blue Hawks and Matt Lee grabbed 11 rebounds. The Bulldogs (6-2) are averaging 83.5 points per game on the season and are giving up an average of 74.4 each contest. Dickinson State (3-5) is averaging 71.4 points per game and are giving up 68.4. The Blue Hawks scoring leaders are Lee (15.6), Hesseldal (15.0) and Hanstad (11.1). Montana Western’s scoring leaders are Brown (20.6), Hurley (15.4), Kyle Erickson (9.8) and Cedric Clarington (8.6).
