Bulldog football loses to Tech, prepares for EOU

The University of Montana Western lost to Montana Tech 7-43 this past Saturday, Nov. 2. The loss moves the Bulldogs to a 3-6 record, while it bumped Montana Tech up to an 8-1 record, which leads the Frontier Conference.

Montana Western ended the game with 108 rushing yards and 218 passing yards, but they could not catch up to Montana Tech’s Pat Hansen, who had 102 out of 230 rushing yards for Tech.

The Bulldogs’ Dylan Kramer led the way again in rushing with 107 yards off of 25 catches. Quarterback Jeff Logan was 17 for 28 in pass completions and threw for 172 yards on the day. Receiver Rashad Peniston led in receiving with six receptions for 70 yards and one touchdown. 
Defensively, Kalani McLaughlin had an impressive game with 13 unassisted tackles while Jesse McCloud added nine and Pat Hergesheimer chipped in eight total tackles.

Montana Western will have their last game this Saturday against Eastern Oregon, who previously beat the Bulldogs 16-3 in September. The game will be Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at Vigilante Field in Dillon, Mont.
