By Wally Feldt Shyenne Cornforth, a 6-foot-1 middle blocker/outside hitter from Tropic, Utah., signed a Frontier Conference/NAIA letter to play volleyball for the University of Montana Western, head coach Katie Howells announced today. Cornforth is a 2009 graduate from Bryce Valley High School where she earned all-region and all-state honors. ""I think Montana Western will be a perfect fit for Shyenne,” Howells said. “She will be able to help us in the front row and give us extra height in our line-up. Shyenne also takes her academics seriously. She is a very well rounded person and a hard worker with a positive attitude. I look forward to working with her this season." In the classroom she maintains a 3.00 GPA and was selected to her school’s honor roll. “The school is great and I love the coach,” Cornforth said. “I know that she will help me become the player I want to be.” Cornforth is majoring in elementary education. She is the daughter of Karl and Sage Roundy.
