By Wally Feldt Andy Roberts, a 5’8”, 160 lbs, junior defensive back, from Billings, Mont. was named the Frontier Conference and the NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week. In Montana Western’s 27-21 upset win over No. 16 Montana State-Northern, Roberts recorded three interceptions, three solo tackles, one assisted tackle and two pass breakups. Micah Mamiya, a 5’8”, 165 lbs, sophomore quarterback from Honolulu, Hawaii was name the Frontier Conference offensive player of the week. In Montana Western’s 27-21 upset win over No. 16 Montana State-Northern, Mamiya was 28 of 42 passing for 349 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 54 yards on eight carries.
