2010 football schedule announced

The Montana Western 2010 Bulldog football scheduled features 10 Frontier Conference games and a non-conference game against Idaho State University. By Wally Feldt The University of Montana Western 2010 football schedule features 10 Frontier Conference games and a non-conference game against Idaho State University, a Football Championship Subdivision school from the Big Sky Conference. The Bulldogs open on Saturday, Aug. 28 at home against conference rival Montana State University-Northern followed by a non-conference game at Pocatello, Idaho against Idaho State on Sept. 4. The Bulldogs return to conference action as they travel to Billings, Mont. for a Sept. 11 game against Rocky Mountain College. On Sept. 18, the Bulldogs host Carroll College followed by the 2010 homecoming game against Eastern Oregon University on Sept. 25. The Bulldogs face longtime rival Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte, Mont. on Oct. 9. After a bye weekend, the Bulldogs open the second half of the conference season in Havre, Mont. against Montana State University-Northern on Oct. 16. The Bulldogs host Rocky Mountain College on Oct. 23 followed by road games at Helena, Montana against Carroll College on Oct. 30 and at La Grande, Ore. against Eastern Oregon University on Nov. 6. Montana Western closes the regular season at home against Montana Tech on Nov. 13.
