When she came to Montana Western on her recruiting trip it was evident we had found a great athlete and a great student. She is determined and has a never-ending supply of energy. She is quick and communicates very well on the court. Kelly will have a very positive influence here on and off the court." At SWOCC, she earned academic all-conference honors in both basketball and volleyball. “The coaching staff at Montana Western is so amazing, and I love the girls,” Lester said. “In the short amount of time that I spent with them, I felt as if we had known each other for years. I am looking forward to attending Montana Western in hopes to further both my volleyball and education career. I owe everything to coach Howells for giving me the opportunity to play for the Bulldogs and to my parents Wally and Jody Lester.” Lester will major in secondary education.
