The eighth annual University of Montana Western fundraiser horse show will take place Friday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 19 at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds in Dillon, Mont. The eighth annual University of Montana Western fundraiser horse show will take place Friday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 19 at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds in Dillon, Mont. Competition begins each day at 8 a.m. The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), the United States Hunter Jumper Association and the Montana Hunter Jumper Association sanction the show.    Riders will compete in hunters, equitation, and jumpers classes. Classes will be judged by USEF rated “r” judge Christopher Gilman of Wellington, Fla. Gilman will judge the riders on their hands, seat, and control of mount over fences and/or on the flat. Show highlights include competition in the Ester Mooney Memorial Division, the Governor’s Cup Division and for the Eva G. Xanthopoulos Memorial Bridle Path Hack Perpetual Trophy.
