The University of Montana Western seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position focusing on accounting and finance within the Department of Business and Technology.
The successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate courses in business administration but will also teach courses in accounting and finance. Faculty workload includes teaching 12 credits per semester, advising, scholarly activities and professional service.
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in accounting, finance or a related area. Consideration will be given for candidates who do not hold a doctoral degree but possess a MBA and CPA or CMA license combination. Previous teaching experience is preferred, and candidates will have demonstrated effective leadership, excellence in teaching, the ability to work collegially with others, evidence or potential of scholarly work, and business and industry experience.
