Bulldog volleyball team earns first conference win

The University of Montana Western volleyball team returned back to the Straugh Gymnasium with renewed confidence on Thursday, Sept. 20 to take on the Montana State University-Northern Skylights. On Saturday, Sept. 22, the Bulldogs beat the University of Great Falls for their first conference win of the season.

The University of Montana Western lost their Sept. 22 game to Montana State University-Northern in Havre, Mont., 39-46. The loss put Montana Western’s record at 1-3 in conference and overall, while MSU-Northern moved up to a 2-2 record overall and in conference.

Bulldog football loses heartbreaker to Orediggers

The University of Montana Western bounced back from a 17-7 deficit and scored ten points in the fourth quarter to push for overtime in their Sept. 15 game against rival Montana Tech. However, the Bulldogs could not overcome the Orediggers and lost a heartbreaker in double overtime, 30-24.
