UMW NEWS BUREAU The University of Montana Western School of Outreach announces two community retirement seminars on Feb. 16, 21 and 28. The first seminar is free and takes place on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Main Hall Room 218. The free seminar will cover the basics and prepare participants to continue the discussion at the in-depth Mapping Your Retirement workshop on Feb. 21 and 28. Boyd Dressler will instruct. The student limit is capped at 30. Mapping Your Retirement is a unique retirement planning class designed for people who are five to 10 years from retirement. While retirement planning often focuses exclusively on finances, this hands-on seminar guides each participant through creating an individualized plan that covers lifestyle, health and financial aspects. This course was developed by Bemidji State University and the Northwest Technical College. Mapping Your Retirement takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 21 and 28 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in Main Hall Room 218. Boyd Dressler will lead the workshop. There is a $99 fee, which includes a workbook. Student limit is 20. Register today by calling (406) 683-7537.
