Visiting artist offers a creative workshop at UMW

Brett Badgett offers a creative workshop at the University of Montana Western Feb. 19. the teacher Brett Badgett, native Montanan and cowboy artist, is offering a creative workshop at the University of Montana Western Feb. 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Main Hall 117. Badgett is a fourth generation Montanan, his roots and sensitivity to the American West contribute to his art. A deep knowledge of horses, cattle and the western lifestyle brings Badgett’s art to life. His detailed work in bronze and oil can be seen around the nation including on the grounds of the Pro Rodeo Hall in Colorado Springs, Colo. At the Montana Western workshop, Badgett will present and discuss his work, and demonstrate his process and technique of sculpting.
