The Turning Tide, the third installment of the Crosspointe Chronicles by University of Montana Western literary professor Diana Francis, will be released Tuesday, May 5, 2009. There will be a release party, book-signing and reading at The Bookstore in Dillon on May 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Crosspointe Chronicles is a fantasy adventure series set on the high seas. The Turning Tide focuses on the story of three friends bound together with loyalty until one of them is ordered by the king to commit an unforgivable act. The friendship is threatened as the three men find themselves at war with each other. Each book in the Crosspointe Chronicles centers on different character so it is easy to start the series at any point.
