On Thursday, Oct. 22, the University of Montana Western Foundation launched an unprecedented five-year capital campaign, "Inspired by the Past. Building the Future. The Campaign for Montana Western." The Foundation and University of Montana Western plan to raise $5 million for the campaign. “The campaign is a wonderful way to honor this institution,” Chancellor Richard Storey says. “It is a chance for Montana Western alumni and anyone involved with UMW and its programs to show they value higher education and the quality, affordable education Montana Western offers.” The student-focused campaign will raise money for program support, scholarships, enhancing student life, faculty development, campus facilities and the UMW Foundation. “Private donations are absolutely crucial in helping us maintain our level of excellence and in keeping us competitive both regionally and nationally,” Storey adds. “It’s also important to remember that a donation to the UMW Foundation is more than just money; your gift can make a significant, lasting difference in the lives of our students.” Please click here to learn how you can support Montana Western now or you may call the Foundation office directly at 406-683-7305.
