Seminar to focus on solar and small wind energy

A free two-hour seminar on solar and small wind generation in Montana will take place on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Swysgood Technology Center (STC) Great Room on the University of Montana Western campus A free two-hour seminar on solar and small wind generation in Montana will take place on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Swysgood Technology Center (STC) Great Room on the University of Montana Western campus. Christopher Borton of the Sage Mountain Center will facilitate the seminar. Based near Whitehall, Mont., the Sage Mountain Center is an education and demonstration facility dedicated to “promoting sustainable and holistic well being.” The seminar will cover solar electricity and small wind generation in addition to design detail, financing, rebates and getting credit for power produced and sold back to the electrical grid.
