Biography

I am proud to have been teaching at my alma mater since 2001. I have had the opportunity to lead classes in every area of HHP and enjoy the variety of offerings in our department. As a licensed athletic trainer, I bring my clinical experience and patient/student-centered approach to the classroom.

At Montana Western, I serve our students and my colleagues by working on a wide variety of campus committees. My favorite activity of the year is our annual Scholarship Social during which Scholarship Committee members get to present students with awards that allow students to achieve their educational goals and pursue their dreams.

My off-campus service includes professional organization such as the Montana Athletic Trainers’ Association, Northwest Athletic Trainers’ Association, and service organizations in the Dillon area. In the spring I also have the opportunity to connect with student-athletes as a track and field coach at Beaverhead County High School.

Working together, Montana Western faculty and students have amazing opportunities to advancing knowledge, serve, and lead in the areas of Health and Human Performance.
