Liz Wright earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education Mathematics and Biology from the University of Kansas followed by earning her Master’s degree in Online Instructional Technology from Montana State University-Billings. Wright began teaching at the University of Montana Western in 2014 after almost 10 years of combined teaching experience at the middle school, high school, and post-secondary levels. Her research interests include studying self-efficacy, academic performance, mindset, and self-regulation in developmental mathematics students. She finds the connection between these concepts fascinating and uses her work to inform her teaching.
