This Friday, April 9th, 2021, Beaverhead County Public Health (BCPH) will begin hosting their vaccination clinics at the National Guard Armory located at 1070 Montana Highway 41.  

 After an increased allocation of vaccines from the state, BCPH will have many open vaccine appointments. These open appointments include several available doses of the Johnson and Johnson (only one dose required) and Moderna (two doses required) vaccines.

Vaccinations are a powerful tool in helping to end the pandemic and getting back to a more normal life. Below are some benefits of vaccination to consider:

• Once a person is fully vaccinated (two weeks after their final dose) they no longer need to quarantine if they are a close contact to someone that does have COVID-19. This means not having to miss class, work, practice, or social events.
• A vaccinated person is highly protected against contracting COVID-19, making them safer from severe illness or potentially long-term side effects.
• Once you’re vaccinated, the CDC has given the green light to socialize with others that are vaccinated.
• You can have peace of mind that you are able to protect those that you care about: grandparents, parents, friends, and those that are immunocompromised.
