The University of Montana Western will host two events the week after Thanksgiving that you don't want to miss!
The University of Montana Western’s Cantabileers, a select choral group, will be performing their fall concert on Tuesday, November 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Beier Auditorium on the University of Montana Western campus.
The concert will feature a diverse program, including some traditional songs like “Silent Night,” some lesser-known songs like “Jazz Gloria,” and several solos and duets.
According to the group’s director Dr. Debbie Seacrest, “We are excited to present this diverse selection of music. This group strongly incorporates the experiential side of choir, as there are far more opportunities for our students than there would be in a more traditional choir. Students are involved in every aspect of the class– they not only sing, but they choose the songs and conduct the pieces themselves.”
The group will be accompanied by Susie Steadman on the piano. Admission to the concert is free.
