In three seasons as head football coach at Montana Western, Robertsons Bulldogs went 4-6, 6-4 and 7-3 including a third place conference finish this past season.
Robertson is the third Montana Western alum to be hired by the Bobcats. New head coach Choate is a 93 graduate of UMW and earlier this month Rocky Mountain head coach Brian Armstrong, a 98 UMW grad, was named to the staff.

Robertson who earned a Bachelor of Science in business education from Montana Western in 1998 was a running back on the 1994 Frontier Conference Champion team. He is also a member of the UMW Athletic Hall of Fame.
