Chilson elected to leadership board.

“I’m honored to have been elected as vice chair of the IACBE,” Chilson said. “The IACBE is a well-respected organization that does great things to advance business education in higher ed and I’m pleased to continue the work to promote quality business programs.”

As part of his IACBE leadership duties, Chilson visits colleges throughout the country and world to study their business programs for accreditation.

The IACBE was founded in 1997 and is nationally-recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The IACBE’s mission is to promote and recognize excellence in business education in institutions of higher education worldwide, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, through specialized accreditation of business programs.

Chilson serves as chair of Montana Western’s business and technology department, the first in Montana to receive IACBE accreditation.
