Kevin Engellant has been teaching full time in the business and technology department since 2009. He is also the faculty advisor for the office simulation computer lab.
After graduating from Montana Western in 1991, he taught business and computer courses at Beaverhead County High School for five years. Kevin was the head women’s basketball coach at UMW for 13 years in addition to teaching classes in the business and technology department and serving as the director of the microcomputer center.
Kevin was the Chair of the Business and Technology Department from 2012-2015. He teaches Web and Digital Media courses and enjoys incorporating new technologies and software in his courses. He has recent journal publications and has presented at the National Business Education Research Conference and at the IACBE Regional Conferences. He is a member of the National Business Educators Association (NBEA).
His research interests include: online collaboration and new technologies. Kevin is a member of the Montana Officials Association and officiates basketball.
Kevin earned his doctorate in curriculum and instruction with an instructional technology emphasis from the University of Montana.
