The University of Montana Western is excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual campus preview day, XDAY, on Friday, March 17th and Friday, March 24th. This event is a great opportunity for prospective students to learn about Experience One, tour campus, and interact with current Montana Western students, faculty, and staff. Students who attend will be entered into a drawing to win prizes, including a $500 scholarship. You must be present to win.
What Happens at XDAY?
- Check-in opens at 9:00 a.m., and XDAY will begin at 10:00 a.m., starting with a welcome and introduction to Experience One and the block schedule.
- Attendees will be given a tour of the campus at 10:30 a.m., followed by Academic Exploration at 11:30 a.m.
- During Academic Exploration, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the many degrees offered by UMW and visit with professors.
- Lunch will be provided from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., after which there will be an Experience One Forum held by professors, current students, an academic advisor, and a coach.
- Attendees will be able to ask all kinds of questions about Experience One and life at UMW and hear from everybody on the forum.
- At 2:00 p.m., there will be a review of the Admissions and Financial Aid process.
- The winner of the scholarship giveaway will be announced at 2:45 p.m.
- The event concludes after the scholarship drawing, or you can join us for a tour of the residence halls at 3:00 p.m. and meet our helpful Bulldog Life staff.
