OZZI is a revolutionary system that eliminates traditional disposable take-out by providing students with reusable containers.
Ozzi To-Go starts with a customer receiving a reusable to-go container by a one-time purchase of $5.00. The customer will then fill their container with food and eat in or take their meal to go.
Once they are done with the meal, the used container is returned to the Ozzi collection machine located at the entrance to the dining hall. At this point, dining services cleans and sanitizes all containers before putting them back into circulation. Finally, the customer is issued a token that can be used later to receive a new container.
Starting Fall 2025, Ozzi boxes will require payment for any to-go meal taken from the dining service. Payment for Ozzi containers can be made using credit, FLEX, Bulldog Bucks, or exact cash.
Single use disposable to-go boxes will no longer be offered to customers.
We will do away with the coin exchange process as payment for to-go containers will be required each time a guest would like their meal to be mobile.
Used Ozzi containers need to be emptied and returned using the barcode on the bottom of each container at the large black Ozzi box in the entryway of dining services.
