1. Policy

   The University of Montana Western established certain criteria for classification of students.

2. Purpose

   Student classifications are established to allow consistent application of University, State, and Federal procedures and regulations.

3. Procedures

   Classification of students is contained in the Definitions section of the current UMW Catalog, available at the Registrar’s Office, or online at the University’s website: www.umwestern.edu.
