Housing cancellations received on or before June 15 will receive 50 percent refund of housing deposit if notified in writing to the Residence Life Office. No refunds of housing deposits for notices after June 15.
Residence Halls officially open for Fall Semester for new students. New students will check in at the Residence Life Table located in Legacy Plaza during their assigned check in time. Fall Orientation begins- for a detailed schedule, click here.
Returning students Check in Days. Returners will check in at the Bulldog Life Office located in the lower level of the SUB during their assigned check in time.

Fall Exemption Deadline- Students wanting to submit a housing exemption form must submit on or before Sept 6 for consideration.
Labor Day- No classes are held and Montana Western Offices including the Residence Life Office are closed.
Annual Halloween Festival Hosted by Residence Life.
Veterans Day- No classes are held and Montana Western offices including the Residence Life Office are closed.
Thanksgiving Break – No classes are held. Montana Western offices including the Residence Life Office are closed on Nov 28 & 29. Students can stay in their rooms without making arrangements and at no additional cost. Dining Services will be closed and not available for meals.
Last Day of Block 4 and end of Fall Semester.
Residence Halls close at noon for Winter Break. Please read through the end of the semester checkout procedures provided by Residence Life staff. All residents must leave by noon unless prior arrangements have been made with the Residence Life Office.
